Quick and Easy Daily Health Tips

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week! I can’t believe it’s already Thursday again! Life for me has been great but chaotic, still getting in the groove of owning a business, teaching Pilates and above all else being the best Mother I can possibly be.  This week’s blog is short and sweet.  A quick list of the things I do daily to incorporate health and well being in my life.  There are many other things to add and please feel free to comment on yours!

Quick and Easy Daily Health Tips

1. Upon waking drink 16 ounces of water – benefits: flushes toxins. Add zing with lemon and cayenne (prepare the night before).

2. Oil Pulling – benefits: healthy gums, increased energy, decreased allergies, clearer skin. Gargle coconut oil on empty stomach for 20 minutes (while showering, spit in trash).

3. Dry brushing – benefits: stimulate blood and lymph flow, removes dead skin cells, stimulates hormones and oil glands, reduces cellulite. Before showering, start at feet, move in circular motions towards heart.

4. Detoxifying Drink – Apple cider vinegar (3 tablepoons), 16 ounces of water and (2-3 tablespoons) Chia seeds – benefits: apple cider keeps your body alkaline, weight loss.  Chia seeds benefits: energy, improved digestive health and hydrating, good source of omega 3.s and antioxidants.

5. Eat – fuel your body with high quality food

6. Continue to drink water throughout the day – (at least half of your body weight in ounces).

7. Work out – move your body. Weights, Zumba, Pilates or Cardio, move your beautiful body thats what it was designed for!

8. Prep for bed: Take all wireless devices out your bedroom (laptop in office, mobile phone in kitchen)

9. Drink mild senna tea to maintain regularity and aid in digestion.

10.Sleep – rest your body and mind 8-10 hours 🙂
