White Skinny Fruit Sangria



Hey everyone! Kathy here.  It’s been a long hot week in Dallas.  While we coast through most days, the heat seems to make everyday tasks turn into stressful mountains to climb and just being outside for a few minutes can really take a toll.  Once home and in the air conditioning, my solution to cool down and de-stress…make a “skinny healthier” version of white fruit sangria.  This sangria is light and refreshing and the perfect splurge with no added sugar, canned soft drink mixes, or syrupy liquors.   And if you are on a health and fitness plan this light and clean drink will not derail all your hard work. As with everything, moderation is key!  


  • 1 bottle Sauvignon Blanc – not an expensive bottle – but opt for organic if you can find it 🙂
  • 1 bottle Vino Verde (great inexpensive bottle of Portuguese wine that has a light fizz $5-10)
  • 2 ripe organic peaches, sliced
  • 1 pint organic raspberries, sliced strawberries or blueberries (you choose)
  • 2 kiwis- peeled & sliced
  • Several sprigs of organic mint
  • Liquid Stevia – (I buy mine at Whole Foods in the baking section)
  • There are no hard and fast rules on the fruit, apples and oranges work too.  Use whatever you have on hand or favorite organic or local farmed fruit. 

Add the sliced fruit and mint to a pitcher.  Add 3-4 drops of stevia, then add the wine alternating between the two.  Refrigerate for at least an hour (the longer the better).

Serve & enjoy! I really love the Mason jar glasses and red/white paper straws, great for a BBQ or if serving a sit down dinner feel free to break out your favorite wine glasses because this drink is delicious to taste and beautiful to see! And not so bad on the body!
